What is a valuation?

The process of determining the value of an asset at a given point in time, based on a specific methodology and for a specific purpose. The purpose, the evidence provided and the assumptions used determine the valuation methodology.

Who requests valuation reports from us?

Individuals, investment & banking institutions, private companies, real estate development companies, lawyers & court bailiffs, chartered accountancy firms.

What are the valuation methods?

Comparative method, income capitalisation method (Investment/DCF), residual method, depreciated replacement cost method, and profits method.

What qualifications should a Certified Valuer have?

Under Directive 2011/16/EU (Articles 33-44) of the Ministry of Finance, a certified valuer is any natural or legal person who has obtained certification under Article 35 and is registered in the Ministry's Registry of Certified Valuers.
